| A devotee of technology transfers and closely familiar with innovation management in the cultural sector, joined Ircam’s Pompidou Centre in 1993. Developed a new distribution framework for music software and set up the Ircam Forum (www.ircam.fr/forum). In 1995, launched innovative online services such as the “Studio en Ligne” for remote sound sample processing (www.ircam.fr/sol). Introduces the CIUDADO project in 1999 (www.ircam.fr/cuidado), which was later included in the European IST programme for the development of a music server and search engine with Sony CSL, along with a sound classification and publishing system with CreamWare. Presently European vice-president of the international computer music association (ICMA), oversees Ircam’s commercial and communication activities. Demonstrated a number of virtual reality applications at Ircam’s Agora Festival. |
